Purchasing Clerk

In your role as Purchasing Clerk, you will work closely with the Category and Replenishment teams to ensure timely processing of purchase orders and product to stores.  You will coordinate with vendor partners and our logistics team, taking an active role in supporting the functional goals of the department.

Your Role:
  • Address Store Order concerns as assigned to the team in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support business needs raised by Category Teams, Replenishment Analysts and Operations, including:
    • Creation of Purchase Orders
    • Purchase Order revisions, such as deletions, additions and changes
    • Generating warehouse requisitions to quickly move product to store
    • Complete follow-up of Purchase Orders
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Desired Skills & Experience:
 
  • General office experience required.
  • Strong alpha-numeric keyboarding skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel
  • Proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills with the ability to adhere to strict timelines.
  • Must be detail conscious while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Knowledge of Retek and Access is an asset.
