Sales and Service Manager
Location: NWC Motorsports, Iqaluit
Reports To: Motorsports Manager
Direct Reports: Lead Technician, Support Technician, Apprentice Technician
The Sales and Service Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service support and driving sales of recreational vehicles including ATVs and Ski-Doos at NWC Motorsports in Iqaluit. Acting as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, this role ensures efficient scheduling, accurate estimating, and seamless coordination of service operations. The incumbent will lead daily dealership operations, foster a customer-first environment, and oversee inventory, parts, and warranty functions, all while maintaining showroom standards.
Serve as the primary service contact for NWC Motorsports in Iqaluit.
Respond promptly to service inquiries via phone, email, and website.
Provide diagnostics and repair support to NWC stores and customers.
Schedule service appointments and ensure timely repairs.
Create repair estimates, secure approvals, and invoice repair orders.
Advise customers on service options and up-sell related products and accessories.
Maintain the showroom with a full and clean selection of new units.
Ensure accuracy of all repair order information and parts invoicing.
Support technicians by updating repair orders and managing parts flow.
Process sales and quotes for major units (ATVs, Ski-Doos).
Handle supplier sales leads and customer inquiries in a timely fashion.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Winnipeg NWC Motorsports store for readiness.
Ensure proper showroom setup in line with OEM and supplier standards.
Oversee new inventory and maintain accuracy of parts and retail inventory.
Process warranty claims efficiently.
Maintain proper billing, pricing, and profitability of all service transactions.
Track and control repeat inquiries by providing accurate repair solutions.
Ensure profitability on dealership capital investments in service operations.
Act as lead salesperson and service writer.
Support and develop technicians and parts team.
Oversee daily operations and contribute to business evolution.
Maintain high standards of customer service and adherence to OEM guidelines.
Complete all OEM training modules within one month of release.
Become an expert in any Dealer Management System used by NWC Motorsports.
Encourage continuous learning across the service and sales team.
3+ years in a dealership service environment or equivalent experience.
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
Experience with Ski-Doo, Honda, and Yamaha an asset.
Familiarity with OEM systems such as BossWeb is preferred.
Strong customer service and sales acumen.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Work in a remote, northern location with seasonal and climate-based challenges.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work extended hours as needed.
Frequent standing, handling of parts and use of hands/arms.
