Responsibilities
Candidates must reside in Fort Liard, NT or be willing to relocate on a full-time basis.
- No fly-in/fly-out, rotational, or remote work arrangements are available.
The role serves a predominantly Indigenous community; candidates must demonstrate cultural awareness, respect, and the ability to work effectively in a community-focused environment.
Tasks
- Supervise staff (Associates, Clerks and Cashiers etc.)
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortage
- Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
- Perform key holding and managerial duties, such as opening and closing the store, and signing for deliveries.
