Senior Analyst, Client Technology Solutions

Status: Regular Full-Time

In your role as the Senior Analyst, Client Technology Solutions at The North West Company (TNWC); you will be responsible for the development, support, and optimization of endpoint client infrastructure including analysis, and development of requirements. You will make technology recommendations from concept to implementation of endpoint infrastructure including hardware and software, as well as diagnostic support and solution delivery of these systems.

Your Role:

 
  • Provide 3rd level support of endpoint client infrastructure and assist in the identification and resolution of problems or maintenance related issues.
  • Provide Add/Move/Change request support relating to endpoint infrastructure for all clients on a rotating basis.
  • Work closely with technical and non-technical employees to document and represent client technology requirements.
  • Review existing technology and processes, and recommends changes when required or requested by clients.
  • Research and investigate alternative solutions for improvements to technology and affected processes.
  • Perform infrastructure testing and verify test results and assists in client acceptance testing.
  • Assist in the implementation of technology changes as needed.
  • Provide rotating 24x7 on call support for business critical operations.
  • Perform feasibility studies, and assist in cost benefit analysis and planning for projects.
  • Manage and implement endpoint technology infrastructure projects.
  • Mentor other employees on IT processes and technology knowledge.
  • On site travel to our stores is required to address store system concerns (new store openings, disaster recovery, upgrades, etc.).

 Desired Skills & Abilities:
 
  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience in years troubleshooting computer problems relating to the Windows client operating system, Office suite, and other applications.
  • Degree or diploma in a computer related program or equivalent experience, including technology based certifications.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Experience developing and administering Group Policies.
  • Experience developing and executing PowerShell scripts.
  • Experience administering Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (application deployment, patching, OS deployment, etc.).
  • Experience administering Office 365, Azure VDI, Endpoint Manager, and Intune.
  • Previous exposure to all phases and roles in the project life cycle, including experience as a project member.
  • Experience using formal methodologies along with total cost of ownership principals as it relates to endpoint infrastructure.
  • Previous experience in a lead/supervisory role is a definite asset.
  • Must possess strong customer service and analytical skills.
  • Proven organizational, planning and prioritizing skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Great interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
